I finally paid my car off. Its a 2003 Mazda Protege 5. 4cyl. 150hp, slow as heck and lacks some serious balls. What I really loved about it was the 30 mpg. But lately, I've had this sudden urge to buy American Muscle! Older Corvette or K-5 Chevy Blazer. (Got to be Chevy)

Do any of you drive a V8 daily? Does the gas consumption really kill your wallet and your spirits?

I'm afraid if I get a V8, i will regret it when I'm putting in $100 a week on gas.

Give me some insight on what it's like to own a V8 because I never have.

I've just bought some 5W30 Fully Synthetic oil and on it it says suitable for Ford vehicles made after 2006. Why is this ?

I thought all 5W30 oil was the same ?

I bought it for my 1997 Ford Fiesta 1.25 by the way.

I have a 2002 wrangler. What I want to do is swap out the 4.0 and tranny and put a Porsche twin turbo in the back with a trans-axle and tranny. Then I want to pound out the sheet metal so it resembles an older 911 Turbo Carrera. Anyone have any experience doing this? I figured I could do this pretty cheaply since TJ's already have the round headlights.
