I can't afford to buy bigger better wheels, but need to put tires on my 07 Ford Edge, with the stock 17" rims. I would like to at least put the widest tire I can on it. I want that good fat tire look, but don't want any interference issues. Thanks
Left my car in a town centre car park today, when I came back to it 30 mins later, all 4 windows were exactly half way down and the car was unlocked. Nothing was taken from inside, my wallet and Ipod were still in the glove compartment. No sign of forced entry, nothing taken or vandalised at all. Am I crazy to think the car might have malfucntioned all on its own? Unlocked itself and wound the windows down?
When I get in my car in the am hours and it is cold outside, my car will not go into gear. I have to fight with the gear shift to shift the car into drive. Sometimes, it will go into gear after it has warmed up a lil. I researched it a lil and the internet said something about a faulty shift interlock solenoid. Any suggestions on what is wrong with it? I am the only owner and I have never had any other problems out of the car, besides replacing a battery.
I locked my keys in the trunk of my '07 optima and was told I had to pay $120 for a new key to be made in order to get in, as this model does not come with a release lever to lay down the back seats for trunk access. I know the seats can be removed with tools, however. Anyone know anything about this? It would be much appreciated!

Basically I bought this car used in April this year, with only 32,000 miles, relevantly new, no problems or bad previous history. Well we had our first snow storm about 2 weeks ago, and it had just started snowing, about 1/4 of a inch on the ground and I go to drive and was sliding everywhere! Had absolutely no control of car, was basically just trying to get from my grandmas to dads house which is 1/2 mile away from each other so i kept driving, and when i went to go up a hill instantly got stuck and front dashboard kept beeping and saying "no traction". It was extremely difficult to even back up or turn around so I could make my way back down the hill and go another way. Overall took me about 30 mins for the drive and i had to drive a 5mph the whole way. Now i know it could be the tires but I was told they were new when I bought they look new still and in good condition, which others have agreed with me about. But now today, it was raining, and i was getting off a highway ramp and the car hydro planned really bad, it spun around and swerved for about 10 seconds which I was sure I was about to hit something, but thank god no other cars, or guardrails or anything were near me so finally the car just regained traction and was fine. It's never happened to me this bad before in the rain, but i have hydro planned a few times less extremely.
So overall, I'm just wondering is this common with cobalts? Does anyone know of any recalls on the car that may be causing this randomly? Or does anyone just think it's for sure the tires, or maybe breaks?
Thanks for any help!
All tires have 32psi, how do I fix it?
