I was driving down the highway and my tail pipe ended up breaking off. its completely disconnected from the muffler. While the muffler fell and was dragged. what do i have to do for this? Please i help. thanks in advance

My car was overheating at red light and at constant on the freeway the gage went down to half. After replacing the thermostat and flushing out the radiator and replacing the coolant the gage reads 3/4's high when running.
