I have a 1996 Ford E250 Cargo Van. Twice last week my serpentine belt fell off and eventually was shredded. After further inspection, I noticed that the crankshaft pulley wobbles slightly. My questions are…

1. Since my crankshaft pulley is wobbling, would that cause my belt to slip off or would that be a belt tensioner issue?

2. Is my crankshaft pulley and harmonic balancer the same thing?

I got my GMC Terrain in April 2011, I first had a problem with the coil pack and now I am having problem with my oil, when I go and check my oil at 2 thousand miles the oil is low. Do I have to change my oil at 2 thousand miles instead of 3 thousand miles?

I have a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee, i drove over a bush and there are scratches in lines along the sides, what would be the best method to remove them? Respray the entire car or what? The scratches are not through the paint.

I'm curious to see what people would do in my situation, not saying I will take anyone's advice but I'm struggling with my decision.

I have a 2000 Chevy Malibu that I'm constantly fixing, it has 126,000 miles on it, and feel like I'm always putting gas in, but I'm a college student and drive 40 minutes to class. So now I'm stuck between fixing my car: Evap system, and crank shaft sensor CEL codes, or going with a monthly car payment for a new or used car if they can offer less than $200/month. Hopefully new because I can't make car payments AND fix a car…so, any thoughts?

I'm looking at KIA's, and the certified pre owned used cars they have on their lot. I just dont want my car to break down for at least two years.

Thinking about buying a 2012 crossover but tired of visiting dealers and comparing features and prizes. Looking for something reliable for a family car ( rite now we´re only 2 adults and 1 baby ), unfortunately we don´t go out much but we travel to Kentucky twice a year ( we live in Chicago ). So far we´ve seen: Hyundai Tucson and Santa Fe, Ford Escape, Kia Sorrento and Sportage.

My mother sold me her car. Its an old 2001 Kia spectra sedan. (worthless in other words— as per dealers from dealerships,.. I'm not sure about kelley blue book)

She has a lien on it though ($1,300 is all)… So what will happen when I go to DMV to have it all ready for my name for me to get the tags and whatnot? What should I bring? Will there be any additional costs?

(I already tried searching via my state (Arizona) DMV website, but its not turning up results anywhere near what i'm asking for…. www.azdot.gov)

That depends what you intend to need the car for and for what Police duties it has been on. If it was a traffic car then I would not go near it.

i have a 1996 bmw 328i and the rims on it are hidious so im ganna up grad but its imposible to find 15×7 rims with 5 lugs and 120mm somthin and a 47mm offset so i found these will they fit plus i have to buy new tires for the cr anyways so i get them ti fit the rims i just wanna kno will they fit the car

Help me out please, I am very worried because I bought this 94 acura integra and when I took the spark plug cables out I saw oil build up where the spark pugs go… I know the valve cover gasket is leakn a bit, but since theirs oil in the plugs does this mean the O-rings are bad?? Help
