Left my car in a town centre car park today, when I came back to it 30 mins later, all 4 windows were exactly half way down and the car was unlocked. Nothing was taken from inside, my wallet and Ipod were still in the glove compartment. No sign of forced entry, nothing taken or vandalised at all. Am I crazy to think the car might have malfucntioned all on its own? Unlocked itself and wound the windows down?

Is a chrysler sebring 96 an girls cars or a guys car?

Which car is safer, more reliable, best gas, and can handle off-roading.

Let me say, I live in AL and I'm going to be driving on back roads and dirt roads alot more than city roads. The vehicle has to be able to handle muddy dirt roads and bumpy paved roads. I would like the vehicle to be in between the years 2001-2005. My budget is around $12,000. I'm open to looking at cars but like I said, it has to be able to drive on muddy dirt roads.

I finally paid my car off. Its a 2003 Mazda Protege 5. 4cyl. 150hp, slow as heck and lacks some serious balls. What I really loved about it was the 30 mpg. But lately, I've had this sudden urge to buy American Muscle! Older Corvette or K-5 Chevy Blazer. (Got to be Chevy)

Do any of you drive a V8 daily? Does the gas consumption really kill your wallet and your spirits?

I'm afraid if I get a V8, i will regret it when I'm putting in $100 a week on gas.

Give me some insight on what it's like to own a V8 because I never have.

every now and then i turn the key on my ford focus auto, nothing happens just a humming noise, if i leave it a minute or 2 it starts but not always everytime, all the lights on the dash light up as normal

I don't have the check engine light on. My car started having trouble starting a few weeks ago.
If I start my car with out revving it for about 5-10 seconds, it turns off. It starts like it normally would but for some reason can't keep the rpm enough to keep it going.

And since this problem started, it caused another problem I think.
While driving, my car has just shut off. I have to stop traffic, put it in park, and start it up again.
Other times, I will be driving, and I will feel the wheel tighten. It doesn't shut off but I know its about to, so ill nurse it to somewhere safe to stop, turn it off and turn it back on again.
I have a 94 nissan altima. The check engine light isn't on when any of this happens.
Any idea what it could be?
If not, what would you advise me to do?

I was driving down the highway and my tail pipe ended up breaking off. its completely disconnected from the muffler. While the muffler fell and was dragged. what do i have to do for this? Please i help. thanks in advance

I am interested in purchasing this truck. a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS. It says in the description it has some exhaust noise. I was wondering are exhaust issues generally expensive to fix or does it depend on where the problem is.
